How do you remove a tight toilet seat?

It can be removed with either a screwdriver or a wrench, depending on the seat you own. The bowl is porcelain and you can chip it with your steel tools. If the bolts are rusty, you can spray them with penetrating oil, but only if you don't use the seat again.
