How Do You Remove An Object From A Toilet Drain?

You can try a plumbing snake or a closet auger to remove an object from a toilet drain. These will break through a blockage further down the drain pipe. Get on some gloves and position the cable in the toilet drain. Crank the auger clockwise until you feel it stop, and then push the cable forward. If you feel something catch, turn the auger to pull the cable out from the drain. Finish the job with a toilet plunger to make sure you got it all.
