How do you remove scratches from a black gas stove top?

Baking soda and water can be used to make a paste. Don't use dry or abrasive substances on the cook top if the paste is a wet one. The consistency of pudding is what it should be. Rub it gently on the COOL stove top. It's a good idea to wipe clean. Dry with the second cloth.
