How do you replace a ball faucet?

Remove the set screw and handle. The cap should be removed with a wrench. Remove the cam, washer and ball for leaking spouts. The seats and springs should be removed with a small screwdriver. Remove the spout and replace the O-rings to fix leaks at the base. Is that correct? New springs have seats on them.
