How do you replace a main circuit breaker?

Do not strip or overtighten the screws. If you want to see the breaker box for smoke or arcs, you need to reestablish electrical service to the house. If you don't have power to the house circuits, you need to reset the main breaker. The breaker box cover needs to be replaced.
