How do you replace a screen in a faucet?

If you want to close the drain plug, place a rubber stopper in the drain. Is that correct? Remove the screen assembly from the faucet. Use your fingers to remove the faucet tip. Is that correct? The aerator screen and the rubber O-ring need to be removed.
