How do you replace the wax ring and bolts on a toilet?

To remove as much of the old wax ring as you can, you need to use a putty knife, a pipe fitting, and around the toilet drain. Remove any debris, smooth and dry the surface, and remove the bolts. Look for signs of wear and tear on the flanges.
