How do you test a coil pack with a multimeter?

Try the coil with a multimeter. Disconnect the set of electrical connector coils, then remove the package of coils from the engine of your car using a key. Set the ohmmetermultitimeter to 200 ohms range, then turn on. Using a lead meter, connect the candle terminal to each coil.
