How do you tighten a propane tank?

Hold the regulator in one hand and insert the nipple into the valve. Do not use tools to tighten. Using the other hand tighten the coupling nut to the tank valve by holding the aligned regulator to ensure the connection is not threaded across. Turn the couple clockwise to tighten the whole road to a complete stop.Attach the nipple to the valve by holding the regulators in one hand. Tools are not used to tighten. If you want to make sure the connection isn't cross threaded, use your other hand to tighten the nut on the tank valve. To get to a full stop, turn the coupler clockwise.
