How does a baseboard thermostat work?

The thermostat works by controlling the amount of current that passes through the wires and the temperature of the room. The majority of baseboard heating systems use 240-volt circuits, but there are also 120-volt heaters that can be used to provide supplemental heat in individual rooms.
