How long do you have to be an apprentice hvac?

The programs last anywhere from six months to two years. An associate's degree can be earned with a certificate. There are apprenticeship programs sponsored by the trade union or contractor's association. The training time for the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning is three to five years.
