How long does it take to become master plumber?

Seven to ten years of education and training are needed to become a master plumbing technician. Two years of training is all it takes to become a Journeyman Plumber. Journeyman Plumbers who have at least five years of experience and three professional references are eligible for the distinction of Master Plumber.
