How long does propane last for heating?

If you're grilling on a medium-sized grill, one tank of propane will last between 18 and 20 hours. In as little as 10 hours, larger grills can burn through 20-pounds of propane. If you use a medium-sized grill on high heat, you'll use about one or two pounds of fuel per meal.
