How much does it cost to convert electric range to gas?

The cost to convert an electric stove to a gas will depend on how long your home's gas line needs to be. If you already have a capped gas line, it may only cost $125 to connect the line to your stove. If you need to extend an existing gas line or have no gas line at all, the price will go up. For example, if you're extending a gas line another 10 feet, it may cost between $150 to $200. But if you're running a new gas line, it can cost between $300 and $750.
