How thick are walls in a floor plan?
Wall thickness varies depending on the construction method of the walls. The internal walls are usually about 4 to 12 inches thick and the external walls about 6 to12 inches. If you are about to draw floors for an existing house measure the thickness of the walls in the doors or windows.
