How tight should valve covers be?

Even pressure distribution on the cover is assured by Tighten bolts/studs evenly working back and forth. Bolts/studs are on the head. The Torque wrench and extension can be fully tightened. The 89 inch-pounds are about 7 to 7.5 foot pounds.
