Is it OK to use a higher UF capacitor?
Small increases can be safe, big no. You can almost always replace a capacitor with a capacitor with a higher voltage. This is the limiting factor of a capacitor due to the dielectric collapse voltages that the manufacturer has chosen. Variable capacity becomes a little more difficult.
