Should you replace all coil packs at the same time?

A faulty ignition coil can't be repaired. Is this true? To prevent future problems, your mechanic may recommend that you replace all three rear ignition coils. If the spark plugs haven't been replaced in a while, it's a good idea to replace them whenever the ignition coil goes bad.
