What are series circuits and parallel circuits?
Series circuits and parallel circuits are two different ways to connect more than two components in the same circuit. In a series circuit, all components are connected from end to end, forming only one path for the current to flow through. In a parallel circuit, all components are connected between the same set of common electric points, but the current can flow through multiple parallel pathways, called branches.
