The Hive receiver has lights on its front panel to show what it’s doing, and depending on the color of the light, indicates different meanings. If the receiver if displaying a solid green status light, this indicates that heating is operating normally. If your receiver is displaying a solid blue status light, this indicates that it is in gravity-fed mode and is connected to the rest of the Hive system. If your receiver is displaying a flashing amber status light, this indicates that it is attempting to connect to other Hive devices as part of the installation process. If your receiver is displaying a flashing white status light, this indicates that it is in stand-alone mode and is actively seeking to connect to a Hive thermostat. If your receiver is displaying a solid white or amber status light, this indicates that the device has paused its search for other devices in the installation process. If your receiver is displaying a solid red status light, it has lost wireless connection to your thermostat, either due to poor signal between your devices or flat batteries in your thermostat.
