What does 40 uF mean on a capacitor?

The uF symbol seen in the capacitors is actually a representation of the microfracture (F) and is equal to 10E-6 of a farada, that is, one millionth of a farada. Its capacitor is estimated at 2.2 F, which means it could contain a load of 2.2 microcolombs per volt applied through its terminals.
