What does a top end rebuild mean?

Redoing the heads is a top end rebuild. That includes valve guides, check/replace valves and valve springs. There are Piston, cylinders, rings, crank bearings. They are left in tact. This usually means clearing out the SAI passages in the head and the cylinder head housing.
