What happens if I have a bad thermostat?

A defective thermostat can cause the car to go up, as the thermostat is a heat-sensitive control device located in the radiator tube. If the thermostat is blocked, antifreezing fluid of the radiator, resulting in overheating of the car. Thus, if this happens, one of the possible causes is a fractured thermostat.
