What happens when a check valve fails?

For example, non-functional control valves will begin to vibrate and even lose some internal parts when problems occur. Adhesive appears when the valve is locked in a certain position, and appears when debris enters the disc and hole of the body. The leaks come from a damaged chair or from the disc or contaminants in the tube.
