What happens when a faucet cartridge goes bad?
Normally, the cartridge faucet problems mean that the rubber rings or inside the faucet have worn out, or that the passages inside the cartridge have been blocked. To do this, find the two closing valves under the sink that control the pipe leading to the faucet. Turn the valves in the direction of the clock needles to close them.
