What is FC in HVAC?

On some thermostats, FC can be an indication of 'Filter Clean' or a loss of communication to your HVAC system's control board. An FCU, however, is known as a fan coil unit and classifies as a simple apparatus consisting of a heat exchanger or a coil and a heating and cooling fan.
