What is schedule 40 pvc pipe used for?

The Schedule 40 pipe is used for drainage. Schedule 40 can handle temperatures up to 140 degrees F. Standard 10' or 20' sections are used for pipe lengths. The plain end or belled end of the schedule 40 pipe is not required for installation.
