What is the code for GFCI outlets?

The National Electrical Code, or NEC, has specific requirements of GFCI for housing units. Article 211.8 provides that ground fault circuit switches shall be used for all 125 volt, single-phase, 15 and 20 ampoule containers installed in the following places Bathrooms All containers must be protected by GFCI.
