What is the difference between a faucet for a sink and a faucet for a tub?

The all-brass body is what you should look for. You can't use a kitchen faucet or your tub because the tub has a larger flow rate. The rest of the house should have a 1/2 inch supply line, while the bathtub faucets should have a 1/3 inch supply line.
