What is the difference between copper pipe and copper tubing?

A pipe with a schedule of 80 could have a nominal diameter of 250mm. Tubes are classified based on their outside diameter measurement and thickness. A 2mm thickness copper tube could be 10mm. The sizes of the pipes range from a half-inch to several feet.
