What is the difference between a vaulted ceiling and a cathedral ceiling?.The cathedral ceilings have two equal sides, tilted that are parallel to the ceiling location and the two sides of the inclinations are above a ridge that crosses the length of the room. The vaulted ceilings do not necessarily follow the ceiling location.
