What is the max voltage for an led?

The supply voltage is referred to as VS. 2V or 4V is used for blue and white LEDs. The maximum allowed for your LEDs must be less than the current. The maximum current for 5mm diameter LEDs is usually 20mA, so 10mA or 15mA are suitable values.
