What is the water that comes out of ac?

Air conditioners pull warm and humid indoor air over a coil of tubing. The coil is filled with cold refrigerant which makes it colder than the air. The cold coil is where the moist air condenses. The liquid water is called condensate, and it drips off the coil and into a pan below it.
