What makes a motor brushless?

A DC brusched engine has permanent magnets outside its structure, with a rotating frame inside. In DC brusched engines, permanent magnets are on the rotor, and the electromagnetics are on the stator. A calculator can charge the stator's electromagnetics to rotate the rotor at 360 degrees.
