What should expansion tank pressure be?

The expansion tanks are charged with an air charge. The air pressure in the expansion tank needs to be adjusted to match the inlet water pressure, but not to exceed 80 PSI.The dilation tanks shall be preloaded with an air load of 40 PSI. If the inlet water pressure is greater than 40 PSI, the air pressure of the dilation tanks shall be adjusted to correspond to this pressure, but shall not exceed 80 PSI.
