What size circuit breaker do i need for a dryer?

The normal size of a dedicated circuit for a dryer is 30 Amps. A minimum of 10 copper or 8 alu is required. The breaker must not be larger than 30 Amps. If the current rating of the wire is not known, do not use a larger breaker.
