Where is the hot surface ignitor on a furnace?

Next you need to locate the burners by removing the front cover of the furnace. The hot surface ignitor will protrude from the end of the burner and into the path of the flame. There is a molex plug with 2 wires attached. The molex plug can be unplugged from the wiring harness.
