Why does my compressor trip the breaker?
If the compressor is pumping up the problem, it's probably in the circuit breaker. Is that correct? You need to replace the original circuit breaker if it doesn't trip the other one. The check valve on the air compressor can malfunction if the air compressor is tripping.
