Why is my toilet so loud when i flush?

restricted water flow to the refill valve causes a whining noise when the tank is full. The main valve that regulates the flow of water to the toilet is open. It's possible that your tank isn't getting enough water if this is partially closed. Look at the washers on the ballcock assembly if the valve is open.
