Why is my water pressure low after installing water heater?

Water flow can be restricted due to debris in the pipes. If you want to turn on a hot faucet in the house, first you need to screw the gauge into the water heater drain valve. The cold inlet may be blocked if the pressure gauge shows a significant drop.
