Will a 12 volt power supply charge a battery?

No, it is not possible to charge a 12 volt battery with a 12 volt power supply because the charge voltage must always be higher than the battery voltage (12 volts). 6-13.8 volts are usually a good voltage to charge a 12 volt battery at normal temperatures.It's not possible to charge a 12v battery with a 12v power supply because the charging voltage needs to be greater than the battery voltage. It is a good idea to charge a lead-acid battery at a normal temperature.
