Will a bad capacitor cause a motor to overheat?

If the defective capacitor is installed, the engine will not have a uniform magnetic field. This will cause the rotor to hesitate in these irregular places. This will make the engine become noise, increase energy consumption, cause performance to fall and cause the engine to overheat.
